Should I input my figures monthly or annually?

Entering monthly data allows you to anticipate possible cash flow problems, this is strongly recommended:

  • when your business is subject to strong seasonality: to ensure that you will have enough cash during the low season
  • at the start of the business: in order to anticipate the impact of the increase in sales during the first few months on your cash flow

It is also customary to present banks and investors with at least one year worth of monthly figures.
